We provide multilingual, culturally appropriate, professional services to support the emotional and mental health wellbeing of the community. This is an inclusive service that has a person-centred approach and is completely bespoke and tailored to the needs of the individual
Counselling is delivered by professionally qualified multilingual individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. We currently deliver counselling in the following languages: Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, Urdu, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Cantonese, Tamil, Bengali, Sylheti, Somali, Romanian, Polish, and a basic command of: German, Russian and Arabic.
We offer counselling in a women’s only space at specific times five days a week; we have a gender-neutral space on specific times as well. Our counselling services on Saturday are gender-neutral for all ages and are generally reserved for family and relational therapy.
Women-only "safe space"
On Monday to Friday, the hours between 10am to 4pm are set aside for counselling in a women-only “safe space” in order to safeguard confidentiality, security and anonymity of the women we support.
We are particularly focussed on reaching out to the socially isolated, hard-to-reach women and girls from BAME communities who face multiple barriers in their access to mainstream emotional and mental health services.
Counselling for men
We provide counselling for men in a gender neutral space from Monday to Friday, 4pm to 6pm and on Saturday from 11am to 1pm in a gender-neutral space.
Relationship, Family and all other counselling therapy
Relationship management counselling for couples, partners and families is available in a gender-neutral space from 4pm to 6pm during weekdays or on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm for ease of convenience
We also offer counselling for young adults aged between 13 – 18 years supporting them with the multiple challenges, issues and they may face. This is accessible at all opening hours from 10am to 6pm.
