Counselling for Men

One-to-one Counselling support for men for men covering all issues is available from 4 pm to 7 pm in a gender-neutral space.

Dawn provides a multilingual, culturally sensitive, professional counselling service to support the emotional and mental health wellbeing of the community. This is an inclusive service open to everyone including the culturally and linguistically specific support needs of the BAME to fill the gap in provisioning of these in the mainstream health.

We are an organisational member of BACP – The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. (Registration No: 00219863).

Dawn’s Counsellors:
All counsellors are professionally qualified multilingual individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Dawn’s Counselling Approach:
Person centred integrative approach which is culturally sensitive and tailored to the specific needs of an individual.

Languages:
Counselling Our current suite of in-house language capability includes:
Hindi, Gujerati, Punjabi, Marathi, Urdu, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, Cantonese, Tamil, Bengali, Sylheti, Somali, Romanian, Polish, and a basic command of: German, Russian and Arabic.

Gender Specific Space Allocation:
i) Women-only space (10—4) 5-days a week.
ii) Gender-neutral space (4-7) 5 days a week
iii) Saturday opening (11-7) gender-neutral for all ages, generally reserved for couple counsell9ng and family therapy for relational issues.
